Famous Last Words is an acoustic variety duo formed in 2018 in Front Royal, Virginia, by vocalist Maria Price and guitarist Jon France. They play top 40 hits ranging from the 1960’s to today and often feature songs by popular pop, rock, and country artists.
After playing together in an electric band they started together in 2016, Maria and Jon spun off Famous Last Words so that they could play acoustic music throughout the Shenandoah Valley. As the popularity of Famous Last Words has grown, they’ve expanded their range to the greater Northern VA / WV / MD / DC area. So Jon and Maria stopped by a few weeks ago to talk to us about logos. Maria had drawn a seriously cool guitar-pick shaped, hand-lettered logo and they just needed it taken to the next level. We digitized and traced the original image, then got into the fun part of playing with colors and fills.
Jon and Maria walked away with a handful of logo files — in all formats for print and social media, plus some 4×5 inch stickers for fans, and a 4×5 foot banner for performances! We really had fun being part of this creative project.
